EPOCH Pi Welcomes New Partner Pablo Guevara

EPOCH Pi, an investment bank financing the purpose economy—companies that drive profitability by enabling success for all stakeholders, is pleased to announce that Pablo Guevara is joining as a Partner and will help manage existing as well as new client engagements.

Pablo brings over 17 years of strategy, business development and finance experience and was most recently part of the Strategy and Business Development Team at Eaton Corporation.  Prior to joining Eaton, Pablo worked for the Corporate Strategy team at Cliffs Natural Resources; was Head of Business Development at PINFRA, an infrastructure company in Mexico City, Mexico; and founder of VIAPass, an electronic toll collection company also in Mexico City. Pablo started his career at Wal-Mart where he gained financial and operational experience.

Pablo is a strong supporter of the renaissance of Cleveland, and through his work as President of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of Conscious Capitalism (CCNEO), he hopes to make his adopted hometown of Cleveland a hub where conscious businesses flourish. A strong supporter of urban education, he serves on the Board of Directors of Esperanza and is a past board member of Near West Intergenerational School of Breakthrough Charter Schools.  He obtained his MBA from the IPADE Business School, Universidad Panamericana in Mexico and holds an accounting degree from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico. As an avid traveler and sports fan, Pablo enjoys bicycling, skiing, long distance running and participating in triathlons.  He and his wife Mariana Rodriguez, who is Director of Supply Chain at Avery Dennison, live in Ohio City.

About joining EPOCH Pi, Pablo said, “I am excited about the opportunity to collaborate with an extraordinary group of people to help others achieve their dreams. The business world is entering a new era and EPOCH Pi is at the forefront of this change. We are committed to helping purposeful people and conscious companies thrive in the new purpose economy.”  Lynn Carpenter, Co-Founder, offered that, “Pablo joining the EPOCH Pi team is exciting for all of us.  We have known Pablo through his work at CCNEO and know his passions fit with our purpose and mission, and his years of strategy and planning work for Fortune 500 companies will help our clients maintain their mission and realize their dreams.”

EPOCH Pi provides investment banking services for impact and purpose-driven companies - companies that exist to provide financial and social returns. Impact companies range from providers of clean technology and sustainable agriculture to old-line manufacturing companies that create meaningful work environments, have great cultures, and treat suppliers and other stakeholders equitably.  Our services range from capital formation for growth companies to the generation of liquidity for existing shareholders. In every case, one of our criterion is alignment of our client’s purpose and vision with those of the financial stakeholders. We’ve developed some unique culture assessment tools to facilitate this.
